Toil & Treble Gallery

Toil & Treble Gallery is the adjoining window exhibit space beside The Witch’s Fix at Treble Hall. Each month, it will feature a local artist/creator, putting a spotlight on their creative work.

This October, the space will transform into a cabinet of curiosities. We are seeking pieces that explore macabre, otherworldly, supernatural, esoteric, and occult themes.

Artists submitting must:
- live in the Hamilton region
- be present for set up/take down
- manage their sales and costs associated with the installation

The nitty gritty:
-We are open to showcasing all types of pieces, both traditional and non-traditional art forms, however, please note that the space is accessed by a small portal (approx. 3 x 3ft.) and pieces must be able to fit through the opening.
-If interested in submitting your work, there will be a mandatory, non-refundable $5.00 curation fee payable upon completing the form below through PayPal.
-The selected artist will have their pieces on display for 3 - 4 weeks, and access to the window space is limited, with entry only being granted for the installation and the removal of the pieces.
-The selected artist will be required to provide all necessary display props (frames/easels/etc.) in order to exhibit their work to their liking. Please note: there are no electrical outlets within the space.
-Works proposed for the window space should consider the nature of an exhibition space with 24-hour exposure, and it’s location and presence as a window facing out onto the street, in direct sunlight.
